Simulation of Mixing Fluids

CFD simulation of two fluid mixing is a numerical analysis used to predict and understand the behavior of two fluids when mixed. It involves dividing the fluid domain into a grid of small cells and solving the Navier-Stokes equations in each cell, which describe fluid motion and the conservation of mass, momentum, and energy.

The figure shows a model with two fluids, sludge and water, that are introduced into the parallelepiped domain. CFD simulation calculates how they interact and mix.
